after a yellow castle-esque building, this is the first thing they see when they enter sintra with the train. it is charging front me in suadade, vida, arte and it is a beautiful reception in sintra. it is cozy with beautiful corners and beautiful flower decorations on the table. I had a caffe suadade with condensed milk, delicious. they also sell beautiful souvenirs including regina chocolate sunshades, typical sweets, ceramic slovs, as well as beautiful pretty expensive and beautifully wound soaps. I took one with propolis. they also sell their own branded in cute packaging and have a mix for each season of the year.
Saudade is a local café near Sintra station. I really appreciate the place, because there is only a few gluten free spots in the area. In the main menu, gluten free items are written (and sandwiches can be done with gluten free bread too). Unfortunately it is hard to say about cross contamination, because everything else contains gluten. There is only one chocolate cupcake that is gluten and lactose free.
Muito boa experiência no saudade. Já à entrada o ambiente é óptimo, decoração fantástica e funcionários simpáticos e solícitos. Pedimos um brunch doce e salgado. Os dois estavam maravilhosos. Desde os sabores à quantidade é imensa). Na escolha dos bolos aconselho o de maçã e canela. Para mim é o melhor. Certamente irei voltar
Came here for lunch, they have salads and glutenfree bread so you can choose from the whole menu. Also they have a glutenfree muffin. Had the Iberico sandwich without mozarella, it was delicious. The bread was very good. Also good vegetarian and vegan options. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Gostei imenso da minha espriencia de gastronomia um local com arte maravilhosa e a comida é maravilhosa o meu pedido foi scone e uma caneca de leite o atendimento foi otimo super simparicos e maravilhosos uma localizaçao fantastica. Adorei
located directly at the railway station, it is the perfect place to eat a bite before they begin to explore the very hilly sintra. coffee is average, but their homemade cakes make the visit worth.
Wonderful cafe with tremendous service and atmosphere. Very understanding of celiac and I enjoyed a wonderful sandwich followed by some GF cake. Highly recommend.
