while we were in lyon, we went to two very rated restaurants. we have dinner for the other. we went to the cafe terroir to dinner. what was the difference between the two. the first was very pretentious. in both cases it was great to eat. the prices in cafe terroir were manageable and the wine prices were affordable in our other restaurant, we did not order any wine as the average bottle was probably $400. the service was great at both. the only thing we reduced the evaluation in the cafe terroir was that the tables were very close together and there was still a thing called covid that we insisted to sit outside and that was lovely for us. it was a nice night. we had only one night in lyon and wanted a good experience. this restaurant has exceeded our expectations. eating, service and ambiente all excellent. in the did, a diner the next table asked how we found the restaurant, as one of them was a native who took a visitor for a meal.
