I recently had an incredibly disappointing experience at Cafe Thai I've been a loyal customer for over 10 years, but after my most recent visit, I will never be returning.I ordered my usual entree to go on the evening of February 15th. Upon arriving home, I discovered that my entree was missing the broccoli and the extra shrimp that I had paid for. Understandably frustrated, I called the restaurant, but to my dismay, they had already closed for the night.The following morning, on February 16th at 10 am, I attempted to reach out to the restaurant to address the issue, only to find that they were not open at that time. In my truly honest opinion I think this place is just alright. Nothing is special about it. The service is great and the place was clean and smelled great. I ordered pad thai with mild spice and extra bean sprouts chicken. First off, out of my whole entree, there was only 5 peices of chicken. I truly love pad thai and i know good pad thai, but they were very stingy with the chicken and bean sprouts even though I paid for extra. A great place I recommend is Bangkok Express Cafe in Southfield Rd. So if you want to get your money’s worth, don’t go here but instead try the place i recommended. Thai Cafe is a hidden treasure for those seeking delicious Thai food. We sampled the vegetarian peanut curry and Pad Thai, both of which were overflowing with authentic flavors. The curry was rich and fulfilling, while the Pad Thai achieved the ideal harmony of sweet and savory. Just a heads-up: when they say spicy, they truly mean it! Make sure to choose your spice level wisely. Overall, we had a fantastic dining experience at Thai Cafe.
The food tasted great! My only problem is I think the oil they used may have been old. If not for that, I would've given them 5. However, as good as the food was, I would definitely consider them a dinner option. The service was great! The staff were friendly! If you're in Southfield, Michigan, give them a try.

The food is excellent! I've been dining here for over 15 years. My husband discovered this restaurant, and we believe it's the best in the entire Michigan area.
Food was delicious got it delivered. Only thing I didn't like was I paid extra for shrimp and only got like 5 pieces not even. But was delicious!
I ordered on Door dash. The food was Soo good especially the Tom Yum soup! I have a cold and the soup definitely helped me feel better.
It looked and smelled great, but it was too salty! Yuck! I wish they would’ve given me more sauce for my satay chicken. Smh.
