A couple of days ago, my wife and I stopped by Cafe Tobacco y Ron for a late lunch. We bought sandwiches and drinks to eat outside. There was a table, but only one chair since the other was taken by another group. I went inside to ask if I could bring out an extra chair, but the staff refused. What kind of service expects customers to stand while eating? I wanted to return the food, but my wife convinced me not to, so we left to find another place to sit in town. I won’t be coming back to Cafe Tobacco y Ron.
The bartender was rude and seemed annoyed, as if we were inconveniencing her. The quesadillas were stale; usually they have diced chicken, but this time it was shredded. The wings were similar to supermarket-bought ones, baked in the oven, and they were mushy. This will be my last visit. Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30
Cafe Tobacco y Ron offers a fantastic happy hour with excellent hookah. You can’t beat this spot, especially on a Tuesday. Their menu has great options to complement the experience.
