We had a delicious lunch here. A menu, written on chalk board, with 2 price choices. Great salads, and entrees. Beautiful beef. Desserts out of the ordinary. And a great wine from Domain le Fort all for less than 20 euros a person. We will...go back. Family run place, very friendly. The frescos on the wall are not to miss. Bravo

This cafe was a very welcome find. We visited the church in Vals on a wet day and found this lovely cafe to warm us up. This is a family business and all the family (including baby) were very keen to serve and chat to us. The coffee was the best I had tasted in quite a while. Highly recommend.
We came across this delightful place when visiting the most impressive church. Our first visit prompted us to return for lunch, the food was great value and the service friendly, in many ways is was rather like eating with friends. This is a gorgeous little cafe / restaurant in the idyllic tiny village of Vals. The food is delicious and excellent value, in lovely surroundings, with great friendly service. Such an unexpected and delightful find in this quiet and beautiful little village.
Outstanding service from very friendly team of people. Good menu and reasonable prices. Worth checking out just to see the art work on the walls (which by the way they are keen for you to see even if you don't buy anything).
