Here's some Context: I have celiac disease. We came here because there was an extensive gluten free menu; awesome! I never find a restaurant with this big of a menu, so I was excited. We were sat, atmosphere was nice, server was great, and we got our food. I specifically mentioned that I was a Celiac, and yet, the advertised GF chips were put inside a shared fryer although later I was told it shouldn't have been. Still, points for telling me, but sucks I couldn't have them. Second, the taco was contaminated. Somehow! So guess what? I had a reaction. For how much GF is advertised, I'm heavily disappointed. So my child chose it because of Al the gluten free options, it 's difficult to find a restaurant that has gluten free dishes. She has Celiac disease. We told our waitress who was very nice , of the allergy . They brought chips that were contaminated. Then came the tacos she had beef and as you guessed it got a horrible reaction. We spoke to the manager , my daughter understandably was so upset , she felt so sick we had to stop few times before we made in home . We ate at cafe verde for the first time last night and it was amazing! They had so many great GF options. Our server, Lily W, was the best! She was so helpful, with quick service, and so kind! Lily also gave great recommendations for other things in NSB. We will definitely be back and I will definitely be recommending cafe verde to friends and family!
Decent place. It tries hard to be good but the quality does not meet the price. Shrimp ceviche was too sweet, not very tasty or worth the $12… Not as healthy as making your own salad. Found this restaurant earlier this year it is amazing! Gorgeous set up, great atmosphere fast/super nice service each time. Right off Flagler, a short walk from the beach. Great mocktail options, delicious vegan vegetarian options! Food is always hot fresh the pastas are the best!
