I visited this restaurant one evening to take some food home. I ordered mutton korma and butter chicken. Unfortunately, it took a long time for our order to be prepared. However, the food looked great and very appetizing. The mutton korma was excellent, with just the right balance of spices and flavors, and it was visually appealing as well. On the other hand, I was really disappointed with the butter chicken, as it tasted more like sweet chicken and lacked the buttery richness I was expecting. It was overly sweet, which made it even less enjoyable. Overall, I wouldn’t want to order that butter chicken again.
The restaurant isn’t fancy; it's mostly a takeout spot with limited seating. However, the food is absolutely outstanding. The curries are amazing, and the chicken biryani comes with generous portions of both chicken and rice. I recently tried the pakora curry, and it was incredible—definitely a must-try! It was on the spicier side, but so delicious. I will definitely be returning for more. The service can be a bit slow at times, especially when the place gets busy, but it’s worth the wait.
Edit: I'm now giving this a 1-star rating after trying the Chicken Tikka Leg. I was genuinely surprised by how disappointing it was. It takes some effort to mess up a chicken tikka, but they managed it. To top it all off, the whole Naan issue just added to my frustration. I don't plan on returning.
Amazing Takeout. Definitely have to say this is the best take-out place in milton...amazing presentation, food, and portion sizes. Definitely recommend this restaurant over all other take-out restaurants in the area...will be coming back for sure! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
I ordered a biryani yesterday, but it was far from what I expected. It lacked flavor, and the quality of the food seems to be declining. This is the second time I've had to waste food without being able to enjoy it.
I ordered the chicken roll, and it was decent, but it was overly salty. I couldn't finish it. I hope the management at Zauq will address this and prepare the chicken roll better in the future.
Yummy food, tastes like home!Have tried their naans those were a bit thick rest the curries and biryani was awesome.
