As a cafeteria you do not expect fine dining but generally we have found such cafeterias do offer a quick satisfactory meal at a reasonable price. This place operated by Cora is an exception. The starters we had were bland crab sticks in a salad and a cold meat salad. The latter was satisfactory. For mains my wife had fish which was over cooked in a bland sauce. I had what was described as veau that was actually stewed beef but was well cooked and as such was acceptable. The vegetables were cooked to a limp mess. Although we know the restaurant isn 't very good, we thought that there would be no problem with a simple cup of coffee.....how wrong can you be! It operates a Salon de The in the afternoon, so we thought we 'd have cappuccinos.....at €1,95 each. I can honestly say that it the worst coffee of any description I have had in France ever. Hot brown water with a bit of frothed milk floating on the top. The best thing about wit was the tiny Monbana chocolate served with it. I shall never bother again!
If you are looking for a good well cooked wholesome meal for lunch then this is the place. Nothing fancy, it did remind me a bit like the old Lyons Corner House of long ago. For a family who are wanting a cheapish meal well cooked meal where the children's for those under ten years of age there is a special menu of a two course plus a drink for €3.90. My wife I had a main course of a 1/4 of chicken fries, plus a sweet and drinks. Total cost €18.00. Well done Cora.
Self service cafeteria, quite a selection of dishes as well as the 'set ' menu du jour at 6.75Euros. part also available as a cuppa area e.g. after shop coffee fix. Differing 'specials ' on offer each evening. Moule frites may be at special price offer in the moules local season. For a cafeteria as part of a supermarket this a quite a reasonable spot. Although it is a buffet to collect a meal, there are miicro waves available if a warm up is required.

Most supermarkets in France offer a café or restaurant experience. When I travel in France as a matter of choice I look out for these as an inexpensive journey repute stop for food and fuel. Cora at St Malo offers a high quality lunch menu at very reasonable prices. The restaurant is well designed and the food on offer is well presented and reasonably priced. Highly recommended if passing by and feeling hungry.
Très bon rapport qualité /prix. Nous sommes venus en famille dans cette cafétéria ou il y a de l'espace, un bon choix dans les plats (9 à 13€ et boissons. Nous avons mangés des burgers /pizza /croque monsieur /calamars/menu enfant... Seul bémol sur les frites vraiment pas top. Le coin jeux est très agréable et appréciable aussi pour les parents. Personnel discret et agréable.
Cafétéria quasi vide. Viande froide. Frites trop cuites et froides. Sauce au poivre sans goût. Le dessert une tarte aux fruits était bonne.
