Well…the service was amazing but i cannot say the same for the menu del día that we ordered, which was paella. The server, a vibrant, bubbly lady, was so excited about the paella, exclaiming it had just ‘come out’ so i thought we should try it. Absolutely tasteless and void of any real seafood. No shrimp, except a head. A few mussel shells, mostly empty. My white wine was good but the glass was absolutely filthy. Disappointing, to say the least.
After visiting the Cuevas de Nerja we visited Maro hoping to find a little cafe before we walked back to Nerja. At first glance there was nothing open until we came across this little gem at the bottom of a hill looking out across the sea. Beautiful location, lovely choice of food. We had tapas, delicious and very fresh. Would definitely return as staff were so friendly and welcoming. Give it a go if you get the chance.
We walked to here from nerja. It was festival day in January. We went to this cafe for a couple of drinks which were absolutely fine and very reasonably priced. I have to emphasise that the staff were very helpful and friendly with us even though it was very busy. Good sitting watching the rockets being set off outside the church. We will call in again next year.

El lugar está muy bien situado y es acogedor, pedimos unos calamares y solomillo a la pimienta que estaba muy tierno y la salsa estaba muy buena, los calamares algo sosos. El camarero fue muy simpático y agradable aunque pienso que deberían poner algún que otro camarero más para poder atender más rápido las mesas.
I give you 3 stars for the views, the situation, the parking lot and the food. the service the worst I've seen a long time ago. I won't come back if you follow the same staff.
Good place to eat, we were on several occasions and we have a lot. the staff is very close and friendly. in the very good food and the unbeatable situation of the bar.
