We wanted somewhere to walk to from our hotel just down the coast from the airport. Saw the reviews for this place so we decided to head for it to get a coffee and something to eat. We weren't disappointed. We don't know a lot Spanish but the lovely woman serving us was very patient and helpful. The coffee was great we had a second cup. All food was really good, in nice big portions and it was really low price. It may be a little off the main road but well worth going to find with plenty of parking space. Lots of local people in as well.
I made a stop in the village right next door to the airport, looking for something to eat for breakfast (and not overpriced airport food). The lady explained to me the sandwiches they had. I had a pollo mahonado which was like a pulled chicken sandwich (but without the spices) and an upgrade to especial fried egg, cheese, lettuce and tomato with garlic aioli. Delicious and the service very friendly.
We have eaten on the way to the airport in this nice cafeteria. The menu of the day is great and very affordable. Several dishes to choose from, simple and well cooked. Includes rich homemade desserts. The owners are very friendly and serve quickly. In short, as a farewell to Fuerteventura, we could not ask for more

Hier haben wir vor Abflug ganz wunderbar gegessen. Ein so herzlicher Service und wirklich leckere Speisen!! Absolut zu empfehlen. Und die Preise sind der Hammer, vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundlichkeit!
Great discovery in Matorral, the Cuban food that the SPECTACULAR waitress recommended. Super close and friendly waitress and cook. Everything very clean, we will return.
