While touring Teruel we went to eat at this restaurant and it did not disappoint, a success. The place is very central, in a very busy square with several offices of official organizations. The distribution it has is very attractive and the decoration accompanies it. It has generous windows that let in enviable natural light. Tables covered in black paper and very wide, so as not to disturb the diners next door. The service is fast, extremely friendly and very cordial, in a calm environment. The menu is short, but very appetizing and the quality of the products is unquestionable: The ham is really delicious, accompanied by a rich toasted bread with tomato and the pork meat (ribs and sirloin)...
The Don Diego cafeteria is located in Plaza San Juan, in the heart of Teruel. It has changed owners and both the treatment and the current quality have nothing to do with what it was. In addition to cafeteria, you can also eat. The large terrace, in the northern part of the square, allows for an extremely pleasant stay. I was eating the first week of October (2021) and the first thing that caught my attention was the extensive wine list with a very good selection of various Denominations of Origin, and with a fairly low surcharge on its price at origin. The menu has a menu for 16 euros, with a lot of dishes to choose from, but I was encouraged by another special menu for 30 euros, with ribey...
After visiting Teruel, it happened that we found this magnificent place, the waitresses are super friendly and charming, a Dominican girl Vanesa and another Arab. Out of 10 and a good price. We met a nice guy named Antonio who was a regular customer and we liked him. We went back twice to that great and friendly site. 100% recommendable
The best scrambled eggs with ham I've ever tasted. Mother of God, what a delicacy for 8 euros. The ham was excellent, the chips in the skin delicious and the eggs tasted heavenly. Honestly the best 8 euros invested in my short existence. 100% recommendable
