Fuimos a Ridu por casualidad. Nos lo recomendó un local, y decidimos darle una oportunidad. Menos mal que lo hicimos. Ambiente muy popular, y servicio atento y profesional. La comida estuvo realmente fantástica. Pedimos dos tostas y de atún y un atún encebollado, todo muy bien cocinado y sabroso. También pedimos una carrillada muy buena, y como plato final, un arroz con carabineros que fue para nosotros lo mejor de todo. De los mejores arroces que he probado en mi vida. Cuando vimos la cuenta casi no lo creíamos. Precio muy competitivo en relación a la calidad de la comida. Volveremos seguro.
On a delivery passage between Portimao and Gibraltar. Stopped overnight in Barbate. We had been recommended to try the Pena el Atun. That was fully booked and was not accepting walking. We walked back towards the seafront and found this Cafe. They were very busy, but put a table for the 2 of us without fuss. We had a great selection of tapas. The Tartare Tuna dish was so good. Would recommend to anybody to go here, not as a substitute but as a primary choice It is well away from the main busy seafront and an excellent sanctuary from the busy throng. Just go there and immerse yourself.
On a small street in the middle of nothing else in Barbate, we in a hurry went into this noisy and not so good looking restaurant. The tuna on the menu was missing and we became a little disapointed. The waiter went to the fishmarket nerby, and suddenly we have a superfresh Red Snapper on our plates, a big surprise. Thanks!
Fuimos a cenar en general todo muy rico con precio adecuados, probamos varias cosas lo que más nos gusto fue la tosta de atún marinado, lo único que nos decepciono fue que pregunta os para volver el día siguiente a cenar y nos dijeron que si abrían y cuando llegamos estaba cerrado. A pesar de tener reserva previa no la habían tenido en cuenta y tuvimos que esperar 45 minutos para sentarnos. El servicio lento. De lo que pedimos destaco la tosta de atún ahumado con cebolla caramelizada y el tarantelo a la plancha.
Llegamos de casualidad y probamos a ver....salimos súper contentos y sorprendidos de un bar cafetería que sirviera así de bien elaborada la comida y de calidad el servicio muy atento y en el centro volveremos...
Precio calidad estupendos, gran variedad en pescado fresco, y platos de excelente armonía para el gusto.

Cafetería que sirven buena comida a un precio razonable, mejor encargar mesa tienen mucha gente.
