Went in today with my wife and our little dog. Caffe Nero's decision to allow pets was a great decision a few years ago and we have been regular customers since then. Today, my wife received a cup with a lip ring on it. When she pointed it out, the server took it from her emptied it in the sink and made her another tea no mention of sorry, in fact no comment at all. The cafe floor was filthy and the doorway looked as though it hadn't been brushed in months. The tables and chairs were also grimy and had items food and paper lying on them. Another man was clearing tables but not cleaning them or the floor around them. One lady wiped her own table while we were there but no one else did. On lea...
The worst Caffè Nero and coffee shop in general that I have ever been to. I was here on Easter Tuesday and It was absolutely filthy, not a single table cleaned, dirty cups everywhere and they had actually run out of clean cups to give to people. Whilst it was relatively busy it wasn’t so busy that the staff shouldn’t have been able to cope. To make matters worse one of the guys had an extremely bad body order issue like he hadn’t washed for months! It stank out the whole coffee shop. The toilets were not the cleanest either. From the looks of previous reviews there has been an uncleanliness problem at this place for a long time. I certainly won’t be back.
Staff are hit and miss in this shop, normally miss. The day we came in the girl who served us was borderline aggressive, not my fault they had a busy Saturday and only two Staff on all day. There is little to entice people into Bangor Town centre nowadays and one thing that did was Caffè Nero, but unfortunately after our recent experience won't be back, we'd actually prefer to drive over to Newtownards Nero now for a coffee, better shop and Staff.
Had a coffee and Hot Chocolate all good and girl serving was friendly. The tall male late 20s dark hair going around collecting and tidying up was rude. Pointing his finger for us to move out of the way whilst queuing for drinks and when we moved nitbeven a thank you. A simple request like excuse me or similar would be the normal way . Not gesturing with your fingers. Manners and politeness goes a long way. Shame let down Cafe Nero

Visited today 26/12/22. The floor as we went in was filthy as was the toilets. The tables were dirty and uncleared. No one was cleaning up. We had to wipe the table ourselves before we used it. There were 3 dogs in the shop when we were there, one of which had its nose on the table. I would not recommend this coffee shop to anyone. I have reviewed this but looking back at previous reviews nothing has changed for years.
One guy brings the name down by a mile! Rest of the staff are brilliant. One particular guy (balding fellow) refuses to make hot chocolate Milano always says it is out of stock yet the rest of them grab the carton from a completely different place! Not to mention his mask was wore just over mouth and perched under his nose. Shocking service and terrible attitude. Never returning again
Called in Sunday a few weeks back after not having been in since a horrible experience last year. The place is absolutely disgusting, I know it is dog friendly, and I love dogs, Bangor is full of them,but the cleaning and hygiene here is non existence, a dogs kennel would be maintained better. Obviously area or regional mangers never visist, or if they did would notice
We visited this store in Bangor Northern Ireland. 27th October 2022 Filthy uncleared tables Disgusting toilets Rude staff too busy talking to friends to serve customers Serving half full cups of drink Sticky armchairs The whole operation was slipshod and an embarrassment to a world class brand.

The place is filthy and needs a good clean. Staff are poor , spending more time moaning to each other about other colleagues than actually paying attention to what they are doing. Many other much nice coffee shops in Bangor
The people who work in cafe Nero currently are an absolute credit to the place. I came in today and the young man and woman serving were both so enthusiastic and friendly. They were brilliant.
