Caffe Nero Reigate

So disappointing. An iconic, historic, delightful buiding which is hugely popular with students and others wishing to have a coffee while working on laptops in a spacious and quiet environment. Yet sadly, it is clear that hygiene is not a priority. The upstairs toilet was frankly disgusting. There was no toilet paper and the washbasin clearly hadn't been wiped down for days. Neither had the table tops been wiped down and the floor didn't look much cleaner. Wake up, Caffe Nero, before it's too late; you have huge competition from many other coffee shops who clearly take a pride in appearances and hygiene.

This place is great. It's in a lovely Georgian building that was once the town Hall. The upstairs seating area has lots of big, high windows so you can see the top parts of the buildings nearby without the more modern, commercial street level view. There is a big bookcase used as a room divider with lots of lovely old books. I always find something interesting to read while I eat and drink. The coffee is great, the staff are lovely and there's a good choice of food.

We visit occasionally for a quick snack- nothing seems to change. Staff are very slow and disinterested. Tables upstairs were all filthy and when staff came to clear cups none were wiped. The staff member kept getting their phone out and eventually gave up half way through to have a sit down! This could be such a lovely place as the building is great and the coffee is good- they just need staff who care about making a difference and keeping it clean.

My visit on Saturday was disappointing. There was a long wait in the queue with only one person serving, and no apology was given. Upstairs, the tables were covered with old cups, mugs, and rubbish, and the toilet was filthy with no soap or toilet paper. It's a shame because Cafe Nero typically has excellent drinks, but this particular location was not clean or appealing like others I have visited. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

I come in here often, the coffee is made well and strong. The staff are lovely though sometimes new staff are introduced and don’t always make the best coffee but they are happy to remake it. They also have plenty of dairy free options. I felt that i should make a review since some of the past ones were very critical, however this branch of caffe nero has changed a lot.

I have ordered from Uber Eats multiple times, including today, and each time I receive coffees that are only half full yet I am charged full price. I am very disappointed in both Uber Eats and Caffe Nero. Today, my order was missing items and they are refusing to refund me. This feels like robbery to me. I would advise caution when ordering from them.

I had a disappointing experience during my visit to this cafe. The place was dirty, including the bathrooms. Tables were not cleaned, the floor was filthy, and trays were left scattered around. Even the decaf coffee was not fresh. It's a shame because the building itself is beautiful and has the potential to be a charming cafe.

Friendly staff but they need to free up tables to stop people working whilst eating and drinking food from elsewhere. Only a few people of the dozen tables were actually consuming Cafe Nero products. Toilet facilities somewhat disgusting. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch

Lots of seating upstairs with plug sockets and USB ports makes Caffè Nero in reigate one of the best spots to do some work while enjoying their good coffee (especially the Guatemalan blend)

Rude, unfriendly, unhelpful, slow and messy staff. Why they chose to work in customer service and how they managed to get employed is a mystery.
