Cafofo Pub is located in the beating heart of Botafogo's nightlife, in the middle of all the other pubs and restaurants next to the metro station. The pub was recommended by friends and did not at all disappoint. I am always curious for pubs in Rio that have the right ambience (which means no excessive lighting and the absence of good music). Cafofo pub has it all. A nice and cosy interior and nice rock music. Besides that the food is great, not just something to chew on while your drinking, but high quality and tasty food. I think Cafofo is great, but in my opinion they have some issues. They are always crowded and since they became famous in Botafogo the price raised up to fast, and doesn't look like a pub anymore just like a fancy regular bar in Zona Sul.
