We visited on a Friday night - our bus was stuck in traffic and extremely behind schedule -we phoned the restaurant, they were very gracious and held our reservation well beyond what was necessary. Our server was very friendly, bilingual and efficient. The restaurant has a good buzz especially when the Habs are playing. I realize it's a chain but I some how I hold restaurants in Quebec to a higher standard-ordered beer, the Blitz Burger and fries(long bus ride) - the meal arrived - great presentation complete with a bun emblazoned with the Cage aux Sports logo. I stopped by here with a friend after work midweek for dinner and a beer. The restaurant is a very large sports bar with many televisions and an enjoyable feel. While I can imagine that the restaurant could get quite crowded and loud during a big game, it was rather quiet the evening we visited.We were seated promptly and the service was good throughout our meal. We both ordered a burger with a Greek salad and both of us were quite impressed with the taste of both. The beer selection is quite good but the price by the glass seemed a bit steep but was very reasonable by the pitcher so be sure to bring a friend.
Came here for dinner with a friend. Was expecting at least standard sports bad food.Was seriously dissapointed, bar was less than a third full, service was very slow.Ordered a California salad with a shrimp skewer, salad was ok, palatable. The butterfly shrimp skewer was quite possibly the worst butterfly shrimp I've had. They had the full shrimp exoskeleton on the butterfly shrimp, making it near inedible and very difficult to eat the meat and seperate from the exoskeleton.I would not recommend unless you need to watch a particular sporting event.
My friends and I went to Cage aux Sports to grab a bite to eat before going to a show. We went around 5pm and were seated quickly as the restaurant was almost empty. I ordered a Brie and Mushroom burger that came with fries. Service was quick and friendly. We all enjoyed our food. When we left over an hour later, the restaurant was quite busy. We went to Cage Aux Sports prior to an evening movie at the Cineplex. While billed as a sports bar, only half the screens were tuned to live sports. The rest showed an extreme sports loop with Cage Aux Sports commercials mixed in. Our food was good. My wife had a turkey avocado burger and I had duck confit soft tacos. The atmosphere was low key and very family friendly.
Since this is a chain restaurant, I look for quality of service. The food should be standard and consistent with other locations. As far as that is concerned, this Cage Aux Sports meets that requirement.The service was good. We went for lunch, after the rush. Our server was polite, friendly, courteous. Our meals were served fast (apps and main.) I'd return again.
Yes, I know that it's a sports bar, but it was really loud and it made having a conversation among our group difficult. That said, the food was very good - both the appetizers and the entrees. Service was decent and our group was treated well. The location is convenient to some hotels and shopping in the area.

If you are into sports this is the place, for a chain they have a nice mix of bar food and some local fare. Felt a home (local bar) when I walked in. If your wife is into shopping and you are into eating, this is the area to be!
