At first the place does not look like much. A typical two-starish hotel restaurant overlooking the main square of Lacaune. We just stopped just for a drink and found the dinner menu very appealing so we stayed to dine. We were not disappointed! The best restaurant food I have eaten for a long time. Unpretentious, classic french with some innovative twists. Well-balanced tastes and high quality products. For starter: a dreamy combination of boudin apples and foie gras in perfect unison. Stopped there for lunch on the way to our gite, portions are rather big and the cuisine is by nature quite heavy , but everything is very tasty and the local ingredients are of fantastic quality (the owner will quite happily tell you all about the various breeds of cows you can find in the area). It was a bit off season, so the place was far from full, but all in all a very pleasant lunch. We only had two courses (main dessert), if you order a starter I 'd recommend picking something light or forgetting about dessert...

nous avons déjeuner puis dormi, le repas très goûteux simple mais de bon produits surtout pour 15€ entrée plat et dessert. La chambre un peu juste et un peu bruyant de bonne heure(départ) mais 47€ avec piscine et jardin dommage pas utilisé . L'accueil et le service au top.

Le personnel est très accueillant. Excellent menu à 25 euros mais possibilité de prendre à la carte. Décoration intérieure sympathique
