Me and my husband both are quite foody always want to try something new from the different communities. Last weekend we both went to Calcutta curry house for a indian spicy dinner. we found the staff is so attentive as well as food was yum. We ordered butter chicken which is my favorite with the combination of naans yellow rice lamb rogn Josh and off course onion bhazi for entrée. Everything was so so delicious very mouth watering. After the ages I found the best indian food as per my taste. As servings were quite big we couldn't finish but took away for our next day lunch. Next week again we gonna go there with our friends for X mas party. All over I would say very reasonable price frie...
Went on a Living Social deal last night. Ordered onion bhaji and samosas to start. Enjoyable with a nice dip. I had chicken korma and my partner had chicken jalfrezzi. My korma was nice with a little kick to it. My partner said his was the nicest curry he has had for a while. Good rice and a large naan. Nothing was left on our plates. I agree with previous comments that it is very café style. It could do with some music whilst eating but the staff were very nice and we enjoyed our evening out and would recommend
My partner and I shared a vegetable kofta curry, paneer pakoras and a potato stuffed naan. The kofta curry was really nice, we have had some awful koftas, these were tasty, with nuts and paneer. The paneer pakoras were also tasty, but not good value, there were not enough for the money we paid. Naan definitely needed more potato. At first we thought we had been given a plain one by accident. We did get free puppadums though, which is always nice. Overall a good meal and we will probably try them again sometime.
Great service and wonderful experience. Went there for diine last weekend with few friends. We ordered some entrees like Chicken tikka and mince samosas. Chicken tikka was just out an out amazing and mince samosas were also gud. All mates really liked side dishes raita and mango lassi. We ordered Lamb vindaloo, Chicken balti and mutton curries and some breads. The all dishes had mouth watering taste and very well cooked. Just had great fun at this place. see uuuu sooon. Keep it up. Rang this place about 12 times during their supposed opening hours at dinner time over a 3 week period trying to make a booking using a voucher. No answer every time. I left several messages for them to phone me back. No one bothered their arse ringing me back. Finaly got through by phone tonight. Now they say they aren't taking anymore bookings using vouchers. Don't expect any sort of service at this place. Plenty of other Indian restaurants in Joondalup, go elsewhere!!
Horrible food, made my stomach upset for the rest of the night. Normally I am fine with Indian but this place.. just no!Old outdated place, not a nice atmosphere at all. The owners were nice but still doesnt make up for the horrible experience I had for the rest of the night! Not worth it.
Hi! Its Prabh here... I wanna share my experience about the food served at Calcutta curry house. It was one of d wonderful experience of tasting indian food. Whenever I miss India n Indian food i usually come here. I have tried all d curries n believe me dose were damn good.
Some of the nicest Indian food in Perth, and I've been trying to find a good one for 30 years! Cafe style, but all food freshly cooked, and is very close the the Indian style of cooking found in the UK. Something many of us ex pats crave for. Recommended. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING ENTREE!!!! SEMI RAW...cancelled the rest of the order and walked out feeling absolutely disappointed...... headed home feeling SICK. NOT RECOMMENDED
