I asked for a simple chicken cutlet on a roll with BBQ sauce—nothing complicated to get wrong. The first sandwich was good, although a bit pricey in my opinion. The chicken was tasty, and the bread was fresh. My only complaint was that there was barely any BBQ sauce, even though that’s all I requested. So, for my second sandwich, I specifically asked for extra BBQ sauce, which turned out to be a big mistake. The sandwich was drenched, and the bread was so soaked that it became inedible. I arrived at Calises around noon, having skipped breakfast. Despite the busy lunch crowd, Alex whipped up an amazing egg and cheese croissant sandwich for me. I had to close my eyes and remind myself that I was meant to be ordering breakfast. The rib stew from the hot buffet was also tempting. If you're in search of comfort food or a hearty meal, this is definitely the spot. The staff is efficient and ensures you’re served quickly.
Calise Food Market is a historic convenience store that deserves a 5-star rating simply for thriving as a family-owned business for over 50 years, especially with Cumberland Farms right next door. I visited as a kid to grab snacks and hang out. While it remains a straightforward, no-frills store, it offers good value for the prices given its location.
The sandwiches at this place are fantastic! They always prepare my bacon, sunny-side-up egg, and cheese perfectly. I typically call ahead with a 10-minute notice for my order. The staff is very professional and attentive! I highly recommend this deli! Thank you to everyone at Calise Food Market!

Stay with the egg sandwiches,good.This morning I also had the pancakes,can't tell you what they were,just awful.The only place where they consistently burn the bagels(I give up on them,never fresh) At any rate go for the egg sandwiches.
This delightful little family-run Italian deli is absolutely charming. It has a simple, no-frills vibe and offers reasonable prices. The sandwich I tried was amazing, and I'll be sure to stop by whenever I'm in the neighborhood.
I absolutely love Calise's and visit every morning for my breakfast sandwich. Alex, who runs the grill, is an amazing chef, no matter if it's for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. I wholeheartedly recommend it every time!
I've been to this restaurant three times just this week! The sandwiches are remarkably fresh, and the prosciutto paired with fresh mozzarella is exceptional. I definitely recommend checking it out if you're nearby!
