The "Calm comme a la Maison" is a cafe in a small brocante shop just off Grenade's beautiful market square. You actually eat in the shop - the kitchen is part of the shop's fittings and the table and chairs are part of the shop's inventory of furniture. This changes from week to week, so you may eat from 18th century furniture for one visit and 1920s the next. Everything is cooked in front of you and for our last visit we had a beautifully flavoured chicken on a ratatouille base, made from fresh local produce, and to finish a cherry clafoutis to die for.
