We wandered in to this place not really expecting much but it was open. We have just left after one of the best dining experiences I can remember. We started off with a couple of very nice dark draught beers. The host brought over some bread, ham and local cheese which was superb. And then he matched subsequent tapas with incredible wines and very informative conversation about what we were eating and drinking. He was infectiously enthusiastic and we just kept getting more. My favourite in Laredo. I came here once every year for the last 12 years. Food has always been exquisite and still is although management lately changed I've heard. keep space for the best cheese cake you can imagine. They offer dayly menu option now. I paid 35 for today's selection: beans with clams, grilled hake, cheese cake, cofe red wine and water.
Laredo is not exactly my idea of paradise. We ended up here on camping tour or Northern Europe. Luckily one night we found this peculiar restaurant. The air is a bit run down and it looks like it is in a downward spiral with aged receptionist/barman, aged waiter and aged clientele. Nevertheless the atmosphere was relaxed and the food gorgeous.
Muy bueno el marisco y el pescado que pedimos, el bogavante y las cigalas exquisitas, en su punto y con gran sabor. La lubina con un buen lomo estaba súper jugosa y con buenas raciones. He estado en una comida de jubilación de una compañera, hemos ido al menú del día, y han estado todos los platos ricos, ricos.
Se come de calidad, el ambiente en la decoracion clasico. Era la primera vez que íbamos pero no me ha parecido especial
