after reading the menu one of the currys had the same name and ingredients as one that i had enjoyed in the uk this i had to try it . i had just finished my entray and i was given a nane bread & dips with out charge!! it was perfect, this set me up for the main meal apart from a curry made for myself by an Indian friend this was the best curry i have eaten since the uk30 years ago all of this was finished off by a good cup of Darjeeling tea the food is first class as was the service
Well, how good was that? Excellent food, great service and not that expensive for what you get. The curries had plenty of meat/goat/chicken/fish in them, the naans and roti's were perfectly cooked and the mango lassi to die for!We were looking forward to having a desert but due to the good portion sizes of the main courses we ended up sharing two serves of kulfi which was good too. We were really impressed with this place and will definitely be coming here again.
Had a late dinner here after a movie at the nearby Rivoli. Nice decor and friendly welcome. Indian and Nepalese food. Tried the butter chicken and 'Wami ko' lamb (mild) along with some rice, roti bread and complimentary papadums. Excellent food and service. Great value with 20% discount for booking online. Really enjoyed the experience. Would return and will now make this our new local take away for Indian and Nepalese food!
Located in 509 Riversdale road camberwell this restaurant is a great find, from the moment you walk in the door you knows it's going to be good. The ambience the smells of cooking all set up your senses for a treat. The menu selection is extensive, the food we choose were very delicious, fresh and warm. We have just moved to the area and went to the Curry House on a Saturday night. Food and service was outstanding. Great Momo's and Pan Puri to start. Goat curry and butter chicken were great. My husband has since been back with a group from work and enjoyed it just as much. The friendly staff go out of their way to please.we will be back soon.
We had dinner with friends. The presentation was very good and the dishes were generous in volume. The flavours of each dish were beautifully balanced. We found three starters plus three mains plus rice and naan ample for four people. The mountain goat curry was excellent. Will definitely recommend to friends and we will go back
We tried Momo and Chill chicken, Goat curry and Mushroom Dahi masala., rice and naan bread.Foods were so yummy, with good presentation.Good food at reasonable prices.
