This place is located near rutgers. Its combined with another restaurant called poke nagomi. I went with friends and its our first time. They have no parking lot so we parked on the metered street parking. We all got rice box instead of sandwich. I ordered the dragonfruit lemonade, cambo fries, and steak rice box. I got additional protein which was soy garlic chicken and it was additional $3.50 which is a bit pricey for extra protein in my opinion. They forgot to add it to my food when it was ready and the employee didnt make a fuss and ask for any proof on receipt he just added some on my plate. Its small inside. The food presentation was excellent. I got txt notification how long the wait...
I will only deepen the sandwiches and have ordered them to go every time. I did it a few times to give this place a second chance, but the same result had. the sandwich is in comparison to other track nebel that I had in the past, underwhelming. the brot is not really roasted and the sauce is missing. the meat is also a bit overcooked, so does not have this delicate, melt in her mouth with taste texture as they would expect. I had both painting the lemongrass steak. I can try with the hopes of something better, but would rejuvenate my expectations.
I hated the bread on the sandwich, just a stiff, generic sub roll. The beef in the lemongrass beef sandwich was overcooked and tough. Any flavor in there was cooked out. The veg and spices were ok, but it was doing all it could to balance out the bread and meat and failed. The fries were almost shoe string, and I liked the curry sauce that came with them, but there was no way these were ever not going limp closed up in the to go box they used. Such a shame, I bet fresh at the store they are great. Not a place I would order delivery from again.
In town for jaw surgery and chose this place for one of my last meals because of the reviews/pics. Was a bit of a disappointment ...flavor was good but food arrived cold and the portions for the fries and sandwich isn 't anywhere close to how it looked in the pics. I 'd consider dining in and seeing if that would be a better experience if I 'm ever in town again ..milk tea was really good!
VEGANS BEWARE!!! Having options on the menu is meaningless when they are careless with the order!!! This is my 2nd encounter with the recklessness of the kitchen mistakes happen but there will be no 3rd strike. Other than that, definitely give the correct order a try...
Wanted to grab lunch while in the area so got this. I've never tried Cambodian food so this was a nice change of things. I got the shrimp bowl. Everything was nice and flavorful
These boxes are delicious. If you're ordering through Yelp, it gives you a super long wait time for your food. My food has always been done earlier than the time says on Yelp.
We got the soy chicken with chipotle Mayo and the fries. both were amazingly delicious . The juice pouch is cool and the dragon fruit lemonade was delicious
It's so sweet. Everything is so sweet. It's like it's mocking me. The Thai tea is supposed to be sweet so fine, but the tofu and the rice are sweet too?
