The restaurant is located in the hotel carrying the same name, and it is a no-frills restaurant that is a bit dull in decor (cafeteria-like).I didn't get any kind of rude service as some of the other comments shows - in fact, the staff was extremely friendly, greeting all with a smile, and also making sure you were not short of anything. Service was absolutely impeccable.The starter-dessert buffet is OK in terms of selections and the quality seem to be OK for the price paid.I got an entre-cotes steaks which was a bit tough but not really at a level where I found it justified to complain.All in all - go to Campanillle for getting food and thirst quenching - but don't go there for a dinner exp...
I was staying at the hotel Roi du Soleil just next doors , which doesn't have a diner restaurant. The people at the reception of Roi du soleil indicated the restaurant of the Campanile hotel as closest diner possibility. As not being a customer of...the Campanile, the reception at their restaurant was rather luke warm, no access to the salad bar, nor to the suggestions of the day. A steak was thus the final choice. A rather tough piece of meat was the result. The story doesn't motivate for a second visit is the least I can say.
good reception, the team is smiling and smiling. the dining area is modern, for the entrances the buffet is generous. For the dish, we had chosen a salmon pavement, unfortunately for us it was hard as rubber...of the frozen badly cooked. It's better to prefer burgers.
all the dishes were good and the warm welcome. But the waitress was not very kind. the chairs grincent strong on the ground: unpleasant noise. Avoid the be-called "fish linet" in the child menu because it is not a net but a fish purée ( really bad). Birthday cake!

My hotel had no restaurant so I ate in the Campanile Saint-Avold Restaurant. As Campanile Restaurants go I would say this one is above average. Choice of beer was poor but house wine was good.
for dinner, very busy restaurant, noisy. Simple buffet without too many flavours. service without really interest to the customer. (may be too many people to provide quality service)
