The frame is beautiful, in the middle of nature we are surrounded by green. the campsite is very clean and especially very quiet, what happiness! The welcome is pleasant and the advice for visits or other are given with desire and application. a little away from the chestnut, a restaurant in a green setting, a very beautiful terrace in a quiet. And above all excellent dishes based on local products, but with an exotic touch of class: e.g., chili with berry lenses or gaspachos revisited in local colors...A magnificent map (4 admissions, 4 dishes, 4 desserts) , regularly modified, allows this restaurant to be able to claim a beautiful future. In mei 2016 kwamen we op onze fietstocht langs La Châtre. We gingen op zoek naar de camping municipal, maar die bleek overgenomen te zijn en dus ook van naam veranderd. Waarschijnlijk zijn ook de prijzen veranderd, maar wat we er voor in de plaats kregen was het geld méér dan waard: een heel ruime kampeerplek (met boom, altijd handig bij een fietsvakantie), piccobello sanitair, een mooi caféterras, heel vriendelijke en behulpzame uitbaters, en een uitstekend restaurant met een menu vol lekkere verrassingen. We stayed here for 3 nights with some friends who also have young children. The site is really well placed to get into La Chatre either walking or on bikes. Great facilities - clean showers and a fab swimming pool. The pitches are a great size and there is lots of shade. We had a meal in the restaurant which was lovely! nice place, old municipal campsite taken over by privates. green setting, close to indre and a health path. Scenic and disappointing. the place also served to shoot the film "fake me a holiday", one of the surprise success of the late 90's. the restaurant is also very correct, cooking pretty good. formula not really cheap for the sector: dessert dish = 25€. we find complete formulas for half of the price other.
Beautiful site with great facilities, including a heated pool. Lovely walk or 10 minute bike ride along quiet lanes to the town, where you can find a number restaurants. The restaurant on site also serves really good food. Extended our stop over to enjoy this great site and local town.
Charming terrace, away from the tents, the map is simple and each fine and original dish. we came many and each one was delighted with his menu. the reception is family and very friendly. Good, beautiful and nice!
