We live in the area and eat in many restaurants...this is by far the best restaurant we have found! In summertime, one eats in the private shaded courtyard, surrounded by the high vine-covered stone walls. So peaceful and relaxing, with quiet music playing in the background. Inside there is the formal dining room with apparent stone walls. All very charming (and authentic! Now comes the meal....truly gastronomic, beautifully presented, a harmony of flavours that combine french and catalan traditions accompanied by a nice selection of Spanish wines. The portions are generous, so dont hesitate to share starters in true tapa tradition. Of course, all this comes with a slightly higher price tag,...

This was a family meal occasion during our holiday of 2019. The hotel of which this is a part looks mysterious and high end. We noted that the menu was a far higher price point than other local restaurants and decided to go for a treat. Amongst a catalogue of errors based around poor service, the worst was been given a previously opened half empty bottle of mineral water. We didn’t even get a thank you or goodnight as we left! In summary there is no reason why the food should be so much more expensive than its neighbouring restaurants. We certainly won’t be returning when we revisit the area next year.
Although I actually quite like this place this time was a perfect example of such poor cuatomer service I will think twice about returning. We called the day (although there are plenty of space always) before to ensure that the restaurant was open and had our reservation confirmed repeatedly still, when we arrrived next day at 1.30pm the place was closed. We received a wonderful welcome at this restaurant. Our hostess was friendly and clearly loved her food, her passion was easy for all to see. We decided against tapa on this occasion and opted for a main meal. My steak was cooked to perfection, the accompanying vegetables were delicious.
El Hotel está muy bien , servicios buenos limpieza buena y a la reception hay una chica muy simpatica y muy amable , hemos llegado a les 21:30pero ella nos ha llamado antes de les 20:00 para avisarnos que nos deja la llave abjo de la reception con una nota !!
Hotel totalmente recomendable. Tiene un encanto especial. Habitación amplias , camas confortables, con una decoración fusiónando lo antiguo y lo moderno de una manera sencilla y acogedora La recepcionista lo mejor de lo mejor.
