can fainè is a hotel/restaurant on the land, in sant vicenç de castellet, near manresa, in the center of katalonien. we came here to eat a typical calçotada and it was a little disappointing. calçots are very good, but only 20 for person, and that. most important: the sauce was not homemade, so it was a pity. the second dish was nice: grilled meat, but the Allioli sauce is not very good and the red wine was bad. also we had waited a lot to get more calçots sauce, brot and wein. they were too slow. next year I try to discover another restaurant to eat calçots!
It was a fantastic discovery. We were looking for a new place to eat a drop and we couldn't find a better place. the attention of the staff is very good and the quality and taste of each spectacular food. reminds you that there are still restaurants where you cook with affection. When we arrived, we had no reservation, but they told us they'd attend to us, that we could have something outside and that they'd call us in a while. with all the calm, as a good Sunday deserves, we wait and enjoy the good eating. I'm sure we'll be back.
an excellent weekend for a basketball team that also won the basket u21 catalan championship! girls enjoyed can faine and they met a very peculiar person, maria, self-made woman who surprised us with their open conversation and life experiences that made us a very pleasant stay. the place is very nice, quiet, homemade kitchen, and players commented that the breakfast was an early piece to remember. hugs to maria!
the restaurant (and hotel) is located in a very isolated area in the middle of katalonia. eating was great and the service was very friendly since the moment we arrived. eating was very delicious with local aromen. we will certainly look for a new chance to try again! Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
