We ate here last week whilst staying overnight at Macanet de la Selva. True Spanish hospitality with food to die for !! Not a tourist in sight, albeit November !!. They did have an English menu, so guess in season we might not have been the only foreigners. The menu del temporada was not translated into English, so a little understanding of the language would have saved you missing some real delights. Not everybodys cup of tea I know, but the Steak Tartare beat any french restaurant I have eaten in. The fish soup came in a huge bowl, was enough for four, and we were only two!! We didn't send any back to the kitchen though !! Thank you so much, a real family restaurant that cares- mucho graci...
No li Dono 5 estrelles, per que que crec que les postres no les fan ells, com sabeu soc un fan de les postres i sobretot si son casolanes amb bona materia prima, i aqui el Pastís de formatge no era correcte era molt sec apart un bon pastis ha d’anar sense res extre la maduixa hi sobra, si era fet per ells no era gents bo, els ho falta treballar-ho, els primers plats i l’arros que vem demanar eren suoer correctes momt bons, un lloc de menjar clasic, l’atenció molt bona, apart tenen parquing propi per aparcar, del 1 al 10 un 7,5 li donaria.
Lovely hostel like the people who care for him. very comfortable beds and very clean room. the bathroom also very well. absolute tranquility. very complete breakfast, sausages, tomato and oil, juices, wine and soda, coffees, very rich everything.
Service below average. Personnel smoking and chatting in a tabbenext to ours. Restaurant was almost emptt but we had to wait +1h for our food. After we were told that 15mins more, it was 40min wait. Pizza you het much better ones in Finland.

the very attentive staff, the great menus, although we chose card and the bogavante paella was very good, abunndantes rations. reasonable price for quality and quantity.
