Our experience at Ca Tho (3 visits in recent weeks)Enter through the door and you are greeted with a smile by an adorable elderly man with an infectious smile (same man each time). The older lady (same lady each time) walks from the back of the restaurant and greets you, showing you to the table. The same young girl brings glasses and a bottle of water to the table immediately. She then brings the menu to us and the plates and bowls. This outstanding customer service is within the first 30 seconds of entering the restaurant.Within 3 minutes (if we are ready) our order is taken and within less than 10 minutes we have our delicious meal. The food at this restaurant is delicious and generously portioned, and the service is very fast. The place is typically busy but not too loud, making it suitable for families with children. The owner is very friendly and always gives children a treat at the end of the meal. I highly recommend trying the pho dishes, roasted vines, lemongrass meat with vermicelli, grilled pork with vermicelli, and sugar cane prawn with vermicelli rice cake. And if parents allow, don't forget to try the cake with icing for dessert.
I really like Vietnamese food and had not tried Can Tho before. It was reasonably busy by 6:30 on a Wednesday. The rice paper rolls were ok but had dried out a bit. I had the egg noodle combination stir fry. This was fine but...did not make me think of Vietnam. However, the ice coffee was spot on and memories came flooding back. I would happily eat here again but am unlikely to hike across town just for a meal here.
I found Can Tho in my first year of uni. I've since graduated but my love of Can Tho remains. The owner has always been so friendly and seems like a real cutie.We have mainly just been here for steaming hot bowls of spicy, fragrant pho tai (the ultimate comfort food) but lately my boyfriend and I have also loved the pork and prawn cold rolls, the prawn toast and the calamari. All very tasty and generous!

This is my go-to place to get pho and there truly is nothing better. I have tried several around Canberra but nothing seems to match the atmosphere and kindness of the staff. Their pho is to die for and is an extremely large portion. The...rare beef I would say is the best. Delicious food and outstanding service!
This is a regular lunch time hangout for my colleagues and I...The Rare Beef Pho is consistently excellent...and the regular size is plenty enough. Occasionally we stray to the other offerings which are always tasty, but you just cant beat the Pho!
The stuffed chicken wing is an excellent entree...but you just can't beat the Rare Beef Pho! When you order...only order the small....it is huge! and totally delicious in every way...my new favourite vietnamese place!
Value for money but the food isn't amazing, but it is average. Good for a quick takeaway but not somewhere I'd bring guests. Found a dead fly in my food once though. Friendly service, quick food.

I love the Pho here, its the only thing I order besides the spicy chicken wings, so good. Bring on Friday so I can get my Pho fix!
