Sorry, this is long and detailed. We are extremely disappointed that we picked Canali's Italian Restaurant to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Once we were seated, we enjoyed the amazing bread! Unfortunately, after that the evening went downhill.It's an Italian restaurant that doesn't carry Italian beer. It was very busy, and service was slow, but that was ok because wewere not in any rush. We ordered Fried Calamari as an appetizer and as soon as it was delivered to our table, we realized it wasbasic frozen calamari rings tossed into a deep fryer and not FRESH Calamari as we expected from an Italian restaurant. Ate at Canli's on New Years eve. Although the waitress was very nice the rest of the experience was not. First off they did not give us a choice of pasta or sides. They did not advise they would have a fixed menu. The portions of the family style sides was not enough for the 6 of us. The potatoes were enough for maybe 3 people so we each got maybe 2 wedges. When we asked for more potatoes we were told no we couldn't have more because they didn't have enough. Very disappointing since I went by a table of two that had a heaping plate of potatoes. One of us had the filet and wanted it well done no pink which had to be sent back 3 times until they finally got it right. Very disappointing experie...
We were here for a post funeral luncheon in their banquet room. Coffee and beverages were available as soon as we got there. Traditional buffet with salad,Ziti ,meat balls excellent),tortellini, chicken marsala I think). Great bread.family were given pans of left overs. I thought everything tasted great,but I know alot of people are fussy with Italian food not like Mama's). One caution if handicapped access is a concern for you,check on access to the downstairs room.i only saw stairs,which could be problematic.
This restaurant is amazing! We were traveling on the toll road and wanted a restaurant for dinner. We ordered takeout and stopped to get it. The food was incredible! Everything was very well made, sauce on the Marsala was heavenly and the portionswere very large. We ordered for a specific time and the food was hot and ready for us on arrival. We had our son and daughter in law's baby shower/reveal party here. The food, service and set-up were all fantastic. I would like to mention the the chocolate chip cookies included with our meal package were the best we have ever eaten! A+ all the way! Thank you to the hostess Angela who was amazing! Brought a party of 9 for Mother's Day dinner. Easy to get a reservation, lots of parking, excellent food and drinks with lots of choices. Staff was very helpful and attentive. Great experience!!
Fettuccine Alfredo was amazing, best I’ve had so far! Waitress was very nice and came in clutch with snatching the last tiramisu of the night for us!
