The Best. I've been eating here for years. I see regulars there every time I go. It's one of those kind of places you just get addicted to, especially if you are tired of those big plates of brown gooey, so-called TexMex food. (TexMex is code for ed-up Mexican food). I've rarely been there when the owner was not waiting tables and the service is always great. The food is fresh, authentic (authentic does not always mean good, but in this case IT IS GOOD). I have to be chips and queso, they have accused me. at the time of payment I thought it was expensive but still paid and then looked at the menu. chips and queso says and they complained that I never loaded from anywhere to go chips with a order of queso or guacamole, but they have charged me for a small pocket of chips and for the medium-sized queso. so even if the menu queso was a small size I do not understand the establishment of the double of the price for a size that was perhaps oz larger. regrettably dissapointed. I have eaten so often at cancun and it is almost always great. today I ordered the lunch enchiladas and asked if I bark and a huh (as I did in evey other Mexican restaurant,) my watress said safe and they came and were in order. When I went to pay the bill they had accused me, I asked why and the waitress said, "let me ask the owner to declare evedently, as I asked that one of my enchiladas was one, I was charged the combi prize. OK Mexican,reasonably priced. Modest restaurant on Lewis, a bit warm inside this early evening in mid-summer. Small,family owned, claims to be authentic but I recently moved from San Diego and the food here seems rather Americanized to me. I first read about Cancun on the ROADFOOD website http Nachos were tasty and a large portion. I got Enchilada Sour Cream Chicken, Chile Verde Chicken Shredded Beef served with rice and beans. Always fabulous. My family and I have been going to Cancun since the At this point, my daughter never has to order, her food is simply brought to the table by the smiling owner/waitress. I have yet to have better real Mexican food in Tulsa. The tacos pastor are simply amazing. The pork is crispy around the edges and moist and spicy to taste. Their wet burritos are to die for and the queso blanca is always superior. They are a cash or check only business, so be warned. No credit cards.
I really love this place...been coming to dine with these fine people for a long time...late excellent. Not fancy by any means but always honest and outstanding. Love the salsa! Keep up the good work!
I can't get enough of this place. even easier now, as they accept credit cards! try the carne asada plate from this world. my wife loves the hot and spicy huh they also have in garnel.
Staff is fast friendly and courteous. Burritos are great! Fresh veggies! A little stingy on fajita meat and their Queso dip is way too watered down. Good pricing otherwise.
