The worst food I have ever had at a restaurant. Lunch was very disappointing. The salsa was watery, looked like tomato juice. I was given one flauta, two papasas which were raw on the inside, a tiny bit of salad, 1 teaspoon of guacamole, a little white rice and some watery refried beans. I have eaten Mexican food all over the world but never this bad. The waiter (maybe the owner) was talking on a personal call instead of checking to see if we needed something. Then the restaurant would not accept my international VISA because it was from the US.
Don't miss this place! Everything here is absolutely delicious, and the owners are the sweetest people you'll ever meet. Just a quick heads up: they've recently opted not to accept credit card payments. So, make sure to bring your debit card or cash! While it might seem inconvenient at first, this choice helps put more money in the pockets of small business owners, giving them a better chance to continue providing our community with authentically crafted, amazing meals. I wholeheartedly support this initiative!
This place is quaint, and charming and ran by a wonderful couple, from Central America. The food quality is top notch and is traditional to the region in which they are from. Food is always fresh and high quality. The decorations in the restaurant and painted murals on the walls are a beautiful touch. Over-priced, no flavor, we were very disappointed. Had to pay cash, no credit cards accepted. But the worst of it was the food. The tortillas are NOT homemade, the Chile Rellenos had processed cheese in them, for $21.00. Small chicken rice soup for 12.95, a corona beer was $9. If it only tasted good! Worst restaurant experience we’ve had for a very long time, I’m sad to say.
This restaurant does not accept credit cards or US debit cards, which can be quite inconvenient. When trying to pay with US cash, the staff is unhelpful and do not provide an accurate exchange rate. The food is overpriced and disappointing; for example, the “veggie quesadilla” was simply a bag of frozen peas stuffed into a bland tortilla. I won’t be coming back.
Small place authentic decor. Family run. Nice people . Food is delicious and lots on your order. Want good Mexican food. This is the place. Won't be disappointed ?
