We had a very hard time finding a place for our wedding reception. When we went to Candela La Brea, we knew it was the place for us. In addition to the modern look of Candela, it was already equipped with a striking sound system, large lighting, projectors, tables and really great furniture. Candela La Brea is hands-down the best venue I have ever worked with in my time as a professional Event Director. Omar and his team are among the best in this business because they truly care and want your event to be successful. They are a literal dream to work with.They offer a beautiful space that can be transformed into just about anything with state-of-the-art A/V systems and screen projections. we loved candela’s and went weekly. we always used the valet as well. during one visit, the valet got into an accident while moving our car. when our insurance reached out, the restaurant went ghost and stopped picking up the phone, not claiming responsibility for their valet.when we reached out to the valet, we found out their insurance lapsed in february of 2022. they have also stopped picking up the phone. be careful at candela and don’t use the valet. they aren’t responsible or customer first and we will be reporting both businesses to the city.
I had a major event for an Mexican group to celebrate them getting a star on the Hollywood walk of Fame we had their after party here. The perfect little living room for a cozy date. This place looks just like a small living room and the vibe is low key, romantic. We shared a plate of nachos that were surprisingly good and this place is not stingy with the salsas. The drinks were also great! The only downside is the location which is just bad all around for parking.
Seems to be a bit of a secret for a good place to watch the games on Sunday. Drove by a million times then I was walking by on a Sunday, saw the sign and balloons so went in after my Walk. Surprised to find only like 4 other guys, lots of space, 3 different games on giant 15 foot screens even a dj for the commercials ?
I came for a travel agency event carried out by the Preferred Hotel Group. They offer parking facilities, but we took Uber who paid them very generously from them. Inside it was dark and the mood was like a nightclub, but without the loud music. It is a very beautiful place in an old historical building. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Nice mood. They have changed a lot in recent years. Now they're more of a lounge than a restaurant. The food and the prices are still good, but I wish they had the spicy shrimps.
