great service (one of these crooked fake smile bs). amazing real long island diner atmosphere. the food was excellently prepared and I had a great time with my son. my only complicity is that the sprouts should come with spicy scree and the court had none. when I asked, they brought me French 's yellow. much more amusing than a negatiw. also I am not a fan of coleslaw who has no horse sauce.
Candlelight diner is a staple in Commack. The place is clean and well maintained. The food is good. The fresh pasta salad at the table is phenomenal. A crowd favorite. The host and manager is wonderful and polite. The wait staff is hit or miss with being friendly. I would recommend this diner for a snack, a meal or a late night delight.
Candlelight Diner hasn’t failed thus far… Breakfast dishes, especially their Challah Toast Blueberry Pancakes have been a go to for those early morning breakfast in the backyard vibes. Wonderful chill spot for family to get together or even a group of friends who want to catchup on each other’s lives over a great meal!
Food was ok; I was a table for one; waitress basically after taking my order ignored me; and to make matters worst after ignoring me; says to me check?? wow; no Can I get you anything else? or how are you doing? I ordered the turquoise orchard panini while my mother opted for the avocado toast with smoked salmon and sliced red bell pepper. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. The service was great and the front of house staff were beautiful.
Never go back to that place. Over priced. Ordered a philly cheese steak the worst i ever had. Tasted like a steak-umm . Look up what a steak-umm is . 4 sandwich, 1 milk shake and 3 sodas, 95.00
We had dinner with a group of 9 and it was fantastic! They had separate checks and the food and service were excellent.
