They tried but, the kitchen staff needs to wear hair nets! First off we ordered a dry bottle of white wine. My husband NEVER sends ANYTHING back and neither do I. The bottle they brought over was a sweet white that resembled something you would...drink in high school. We apologized and sent it back. The waiter brought over a woman that spoke better English than than he did and she tried to bring us another dry white wine we also used the translator on my husbands phone for the Spanish words for dry white wine. The second bottle was still very sweet but, not like the dessert wine that was the first bottle. We felt bad, they felt bad it was a rocky start to a meal. They brought us a compliment...
we visited the restaurante canela as part of the 18rg birthday weekend of my daughter and dined there on the first night. we really wanted to try the valencian paella and were glad that we. it was amazing. like the seafood paella, the calves and the...Ox sirloin. the tapas stars were fabulous and so the service was excellent. we would definitely return when we visit valencia again!
that eat there really loved, and the flexibility to all nutritional requirements. it felt as though it was made with carefree, high-quality ingredients and quite a bit out. many local and not too many tourist, and a very beautiful and bearable part of the old city. the staff can be a bit rough stressed, but actually very friendly and helpful!
Note they almost have to get a reservation to get a table here. but as soon as they do eat, it's very good. we wanted a smaller meal, and we eat until we could not eat anymore! good ham, good fish. I'm a nice host. we ate in the secondary restaurant (lightly less raised) instead of in the original. the same menu.
