Stopped by this awesome homey restaurant in a huge car rest stop near Exit 34 of CA 60 E Pomona Freeway and IT WAS FANTASTIC. I got a full rest refueled myself with yummy Italian dishes, while my car was parked in a tree shaded spot which there are many! This place serves really nice Italian cuisine with European pub vibes atmosphere inside (I LOVE THIS FEELING SINCE WALKING IN OMG) Lovely music, partitioned seatings, dim lighting, great food smell, wine shelf, vintage restroom, etc.. This is a nice family owned Italian restaurant back in the corner of a small strip mall. It usually has a lot of people when we come for dinner, but we were seated quickly. The staff was friendly and helpful. We have been coming here for many years and usually get the chicken marsala. We like that they put the marsala sauce on the fettuccine that comes with it. It comes with a nice salad with cheese, olives and tomatoes. The chicken is tender and has lots of mushrooms. Their garlic bread is awesome and very popular. Jen I were there on the 4th of September at about 11 30 am. It's important to note that there were only 2 servers and there was already a party of 20 in the back. Needless to say, our server was like a duck in water. She was sprite, unfazed by the volume and able to give us the perfect amount of attention. Julie (the Owner) stopped to say hello and took a few moments with us. She also took care to check on the staff to offer support. The food was purely Canatero's. The best quality, the richest flavors, not overpowered with seasoning. This is a wonderful eatery. I highly suggest you come hungry, because they are going to feed you well!
Absolutely love this place. There food is always delicious and the enviroment it very quaint. Its a great family owned italian restaurant. Literally everything taste great. I got chicken parmesaan this time amd my partner got chicken masala with mushroom ravioli. But we love there lasagne, baked ziti and chicken Alfredo as well.
Went here with my hubby sister and her friend we were treated like kings a d queens! We had a lovely time the food came quickly and we had a blast. They were so friendly and even tried to help us when we needed a stylus pen for a document signing. They were so cool. Thx Cannataros. Made my day! 5 stars
Delicious, the wedding soup is very tasty. The lasagna and garlic bread were good too. The chicken Alfredo was also very good. My server was very attentive and made sure everything was great.
Went here on Valentines Day and Boy was it busy, but their service was great and the food was amazing, Their sauce is so good..We will definitely be back.
