We had an incredible experience. We went for Sunday lunch. The service was exceptional. The cocktails were well thought out and well prepared with better than average liquor. Very delicious cocktails to say the least. We were a party of 10. The restaurant didn't skimp on anything. Guacamole was very good. Shrimp cocktail was a little different but also very good with fresh ingredients. I tried several different tacos. Baja, Lobster, Chicken, and Shrimp w/cheese. All very flavorful and very good. Hi we just had an encounter at Cantina Frida in Bevery Hills where the restaurant owner wanted to charge us $57 for having a stroller with us. I've posted a video below and showing the owner along with a picture of the receipt. He said that the restaurant policy is no strollers but when we were rated they say us somewhere to accommodate the stroller. After asking for the bill, there was a line showing $57 discount buy was actually taking the bill from $143 to $200. Picture of receipt and man stating to be the owner. It wasn't until BHPD came that the owner decided to remove the stroller charge once he saw he was losing lots of business from people leaving due to the scene in the restaurant....
Arrived for reservation on time, restaurant seemed only about half full... friendly reception and seated immediately. Sat at table for 10 minutes and no service. Asked for water and friendly response from busperson was received. No water was delivered. Noticed bar seating received enthusiastic attention. We got up and ask bartender could we move and move and eat there, and now we have attentive and friendly service. Drinks and food was delivered promptly and tasted great (as usual). Had a good time from really great bar service. Maybe poor table service was a blip... we will come back as the food is that good. Gracías Frida's
Eating has always been great here. it's the star, a bit expensive, but hey, they're in beverly hills. restaurant is very loud, especially in the back area. the service was in order, but we had to hunt the waiter up to get a purple check, as he left us after dessert. make sure they request a table or stand in the front part of the place. it is difficult to speak in their group at frida, almost impossible at the back tables.

The food at this restaurant is fantastic! Be sure to try the various types of tacos, they are delicious. The guacamole is made right at your table to your liking. I recommend making a reservation for a Saturday evening at least 5 days in advance, as the service can be a bit slow but it is worth it. The atmosphere is lively and they have outdoor seating available.
We went early so there were not many people at first. Guacamole came fast, Diet Coke never came for my daughter so I had to ask for it, service was very slow, 2 tacos took forever and then one taco came made wrong. To remake it took forever. Not impressed!
the waitress coughed my friend on a drink order cocktail and thus the bill was much higher than expected. it was a slick movement, but a very bad taste in my mouth left (pun intended)
