Cantine Ben La Bedaine

We stopped here on our way through Quebec so we could experience some authentic Quebec poutine. I loved the retro theme and all, but the food was lacklustre for me, especially for the price. Honestly I think I’ve enjoyed poutine more at McDonald’s and my local restaurant in Ontario. Good curds, but that’s where it ended for me. The burger was good beef, but like others have mentioned, on the small side.

They say best poutine. To be honest when you clame yourself the best one and serve one of the worst I ate in my life. That is a shame. That is a cantine like others, nothing special about it except the retro vibe look of the building. fast and grassy food nothing more.

Good food but unfortunately the cashier refused to take my order because i did not speak French, unbelievable you can’t be tourist in Quebec

Limited greasy spoon menu and prices seem a bit high, but food is fresh and restaurant is spotless, open very late every night.

Worse hot dog of my life. Cold bun. Bad slaw. Bad fries. Long wait. Expensive. No redeeming features.
