Terrible experience! We went for the dinner buffet and, upon sitting down, confirmed that we wanted the buffet. When we approached the buffet, it was nearly empty! We took what little food was available, and when the waitress asked if we wanted more food to be brought out, she assured us it would be filled up. After waiting for nearly 45 minutes, there still wasn’t any food added to the buffet. At that point, I think it was the owner who came by to ask if everything was alright, but I didn’t say anything because I just wanted to eat. I had to ask twice before more food was finally replenished, and honestly, I was not satisfied with the meal. The chicken balls were hard, the honey garlic ribs...
Worst Chinese food I have ever had. They forgot my egg rolls. They gave me the worst ginger beef I have ever tasted, couldn't even eat it. There was an egg shell in my rice.. It was all cold. The ginger beef, it didn't even look like ginger beef never in my life had ginger beef that looked/tasted like that. Plus they charged me 10.75 instead of 9.75 like their menu says. Last she asked me for a tip! I always tip but it's pretty selfish for her to ask for one especially since I regrettably paid almost $50.00 for the worst food ever. I truly do not like to give really bad review, but this was totally disgusting. Was many years since being here which at that time was extremely good. Today at about noon we got the buffet. Like any buffet I only take a small amount so as not to waste in case I don 't like something. Today, no different. A bit of this and that and back to the table. From the first bite it was terrible. Everthing was cold, dry, overcooked. Just DISGUSTINGLY AUFUL . This food we were expected to eat and pay for would turn a dog away from a gut wagon. We went to the area for paying and told of our experience upon which they said no payment required. Needless to say we will not be returning.
This family-run restaurant has a very friendly atmosphere. They offer classic buffet options, which aren't overly large, but there are also some unique and delicious items to try. As of February 2018, the buffet price was $12.50 for adults. Children pay based on their age: an 8-year-old costs $6, while a 2-year-old can eat for free with the purchase of an adult buffet (though it might be for kids 3 and under—I'm not entirely sure). Awful experience. Terrible service. Over an hour for delivery. Missing egg rolls on delivery and then told they can bring them out to me on the next delivery....but they don 't know when that will be. My other option is that they would give me free egg rolls with my next order. I have to order again to get the food I already paid for. General Tao chicken from the spicy menu was bland with no spice at all. Sweet and sour sauce tasted like dish soap. I will never buy here again, enjoy your savings on the egg rolls.
Attended restaurant just after noon for lunch buffet. Most of the featured food trays were almost empty.The white rice was clumped and cold and the chicken fried rice inedible. The Won Ton soup was cold like it had been sitting for hours unheated.The salad bar was gruesome , the Cole slaw brown like it was days old. I have eaten here often but the buffet has deteriorated to the point where it should be shut down . I really suspect some of the items are recycled. Never going back!
Here and Tangs is the only place we visit for authentic cultural cuisine, and it's simply fantastic. I really enjoy the buffet and dining out here. The Chicken Sueguy is incredible, and the herbal blends are delightful. I love all the dishes, and the owners are very friendly. I've never had a negative experience with them. They are welcoming to everyone, and the prices for the buffet and takeaway are very reasonable!
