While we waited for our food, we decided to grab some beers. My husband chose a stout, while I opted for the pineapple sour, as I am a fan of sour beers. However, I was disappointed to find that the pineapple sour did not have any sour or pineapple flavor; instead, it had a strong smoky taste which I couldn't stomach, so my husband ended up finishing it for me. After waiting for about 40 minutes with no sign of our food, I approached the bartender to inquire about the delay. I was informed that orders typically take 20 minutes, but he promised to check on our order and give it another 10 minutes. However, he stayed at the bar chatting with other customers and didn't follow up on our order....
I was excited to support a local restaurant, but unfortunately, my experience left me feeling very disappointed. The service was lacking from the moment I walked in - no one acknowledged me or took my order. I was required to order through their app with no other options available, and was even charged a $5 service fee, which I found unreasonable. I was recently here to meet up with a couple of friends to be part of a music night at Canton Brew Works and I gotta say I really loved the place. I arrived about an hour and a half before showtime and had a sprite and some really kickin' wings. The really cool thing about the food here is it is bar food that's elevated. The servers behind the counter were very friendly and had all of me and my friends food and drink orders done in a quick and friendly manner. Bought some of the wine here while at the cherry hill festival and I never was a wine person until she had me try to raspberry one they have. It was delicious and no winey aftertaste. It was great. I wish their hours were a bit better or open on Sundays as well as had food available, but I'll totally go back and grab a bottle of the wine. My boyfriend enjoyed the stout they had as well. The people at the tent were extremely friendly and good to talk to, answered all sorts of random questions from us. I'd recommend trying this place out if you're looking for a good brewery nearby! I don't know... I was not impressed. Got there for euchre and tried ordering food. Had to be done online and there was a $5 service fee. So weird. Skipped the food and got a blonde beer. Nasty and flat. I told the bartender and he said that's how it is so I kept it. Someone recommended I tell a different bartender so I did and she replaced it. I can't remember the next beer I had. It was darker and ok. Still a tad flat. Oh well. Cool thing is that it was casual. Lots of space and games. It would be cool to hang for a game night.
We were really excited to try out this local place, but disappointed when our beers tasted exactly like cigarettes. (IPA and blonde ale) We mentioned it to the bartender, who offered to repour our drinks, but we opted not to try another and were charged full price for the two drinks. Might've been a fluke, but still gross enough to not risk again.
We really enjoyed Canton Brew works! The atmosphere is very warm and inviting and I loved the gear theme. The bartender was friendly and helpful and the locals were welcoming. I don 't think I would come back specifically to come here as the goal was to get a tag. But if you 're in the area check it out!

The beer is delicious, and the service is always excellent when Loice is bartending. I especially enjoy the dart games and the atmosphere on weekends.
