I collaborated with Assistant General Manager Destany Avery to arrange a reservation for a group of 23, and she made the entire experience smooth, efficient, and enjoyable for everyone. She guided me in selecting a menu, provided all the essential information, and helped us choose the best of two potential dates. On the evening of our visit, our servers were outstanding and ensured that our whole group was satisfied while keeping everything running smoothly. Cape Fear Seafood Company We had a great experience here! We went hoping to see the Phillies game, and bartender Annie changed the channel for us at once. We went looking for steamed shrimp, but when my husband saw jambalaya on the menu, he had to go for that. I had my shrimp and a great salad. When I asked our amazing server Lisa how the grits were, she brought me a sample and they were yum! Great drinks, too. Highly recommend this location, and ask for Lisa!

I didn't get the opportunity to sample the food because I was informed there was a 15-minute wait, despite the fact that the restaurant was completely empty. It seemed odd that I couldn't even sit down and have a glass of water on a Friday night at 8 PM. Overall, I would rate the food a 1, the service a 1, and the atmosphere a 1. A great choice for Calabash style seafood while visiting Wilmington. The flounder was flaky with a crisply fried batter. The fried shrimp and oysters were excellent. A laid back atmosphere, draft beer and an attentive waitstaff are a plus as well!
The food was terrible. It was excellent from 2017 to 2020, but the quality has declined since then. If you look at the years when the awards stopped, you can see a clear trend. I'm very disappointed and won’t be returning to this restaurant.
