The Thorofare location was a disappointing experience, reminiscent of a poorly organized gallery on a fish-less night. The fries were terrible, the mussels were dry, and the calamari was so tough it felt more suitable as fish bait than for human consumption. After adding a few beers, the bill came to $120. We would have had a better meal at Chick-fil-A.
I really appreciate that this restaurant is tucked away and the area has a charming feel reminiscent of the early 1900s. It's refreshingly unpretentious, and overall, the seafood is quite good. However, I do have an issue with the overly spicy cocktail sauce—they really go overboard with it. I find myself needing to bring my own when I eat there.
My now-husband took me to this place (then located on the old Route 130) for our first date, after raving about the spicy shrimp. The King Crab legs have been my favorite for 39 years. I do miss the floor covered with peanut shells and the gravel parking lot, but...
Totally unorganized, had to cancel, Mothers Day was ruined. People packed in the liquor store like sardines violating every part of the cover 19 order. Lost orders and a wait time of two hours more from what your pick up time was , very sad. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
This place is a gem hidden away and that keeps it a quiet place for great seafood. Love the snow crab legs and the combo dinners. If I want seafood it is the only place I go.
