I went there on a Sunday by myself around 1400 to get a coffee and sandwich. It wasn't really that busy. I sat outside to enjoy the weather and people. It took about 10 minutes for someone to take my order. Several groups of people sat down after I did and ordered. They received their coffees about 15-20 minutes after I placed my order. I asked one of the staff where is my coffee. They asked what I ordered and disappeared. About another 10 minutes went by and I finally saw my waiter. I asked where was my coffee. He said he would go and check. About 10 minutes later I received my sandwich. It took almost 40 minutes for me to get my sandwich. The waiter returned 5 minutes later with my coffee....
Dieser Ort ist ein wundervolles Café mit köstlichem, innovativem Essen und freundlichem Personal. Wir waren für das Wochenende in Marburg und kehrten für drei separate Mahlzeiten zu diesem Ort zurück. Einige Dinge wie z.B. der Mini-Apfelkuchen und der Wassermelonen-Salat waren so gut, dass wir sie bei mehr als einer Mahlzeit hatten; aber als wir einige neue Dinge wie Pasta und Salat mit Hähnchen probierten, waren wir erneut angenehm überrascht, wie gut das Essen war. Das Café liegt nur 100 m vom sehr belebten, sehr lauten Hauptmarkt entfernt, aber die Lage war ruhiger und es gab trotzdem viel Gelegenheit zum Leute beobachten. An heißen Sommertagen (und Abenden) sind sie auch gut vor der Sonn...
The French toast was nice but nothing special, and the coffee was also fine, better than most places. You don't seem to get much food for the price, I think they're trying to charge more based on providing better quality food but there food isn't really good enough to justify that approach. Overall, quite nice but overpriced.
Ich muss meinen vorherigen Kommentar bearbeiten, dieses Mal hatte ich eine völlig andere Erfahrung, der Service war nett und freundlich, dieses Mal fühlte ich mich willkommen dort zu sein. Der Ort hat eine wirklich schöne Atmosphäre. Freue mich auf eine nächste gute Erfahrung.
I was passing by with my family and we were drawn here by delicious bakery smell. We went in and grabbed croissants and an apple pie and coffee of course. Coffee was tasty and the croissants were beyond my expectation-just as in France. Maybe best in Hessen.
I was there multiple times and i tried manyy sweets and o god they were sooo delicious i dont really understand the comments about their sweets though because i find their sweets the best in Marburg and with a normal price for that great quality.
Wir haben Marburg besucht und diese schöne gemütliche Kaffeebar entdeckt! Sehr ruhig, toller Service und leckeres Frühstück! Der würzige Chai Latte hat mir den Tag gerettet! Absolut empfehlenswert!
It is a very cosy cafe restaurant in Marbug! the ambiance is very relaxing. We tried the hot chocolate! It is excellent. It is so thick that it is called chocolate pudding on the menu!
Friendly staff and good chai lattes. Lava cake was to die for! Absolutely perfect. Sadly the vibe wasn’t mine that’s why a star less, but otherwise very nice.
