I'm not a frequent customer, but I wanted to try a bobbie for the first time. I placed my order online and have previously used a $2 off voucher without any issues. However, last weekend my voucher didn't work, and after speaking with several employees about the problem, I was left unsatisfied. I mentioned that I had experienced this issue before, but the staff had been able to apply the discount then. This time, there seemed to be no genuine effort to resolve the situation. The person in charge explained that it was a website issue and that nothing could be done. I'm urging the managers or owners to look into making online vouchers and rewards easier to use. So, I used to feel like this was a reasonable lunch spot, but 2 medium sambos and a bag of chips for $30 is kinda steep especially when you consider this location has become very stingy with their sandwiches.I got a medium capasatrami today and one half barely had anything in it, just very wet coleslaw that created a super soggy and dripping sandwich. Last time I had the Bobbi and it was mostly stuffing with barely any turkey (none of it was white meat). Definitely worth the extra drive to Exton if you get a craving.
Capriotti's is a decent sandwich shop, but only if you stick to the menu. If you order a sandwich that comes with mayo and don't specifically request it to be left out, there's a 50% chance you'll still get mayo. Similarly, if the sandwich is supposed to come with Swiss cheese and you ask for cheddar instead, there's a good chance they'll ignore your request and leave the Swiss on. This has happened to me multiple times at this Capriotti's location, and I've had enough of it. I'm done.
my family was in the city for a children's sport tournament and tried capriotti’s for dinner one night. the staff was pleasant enough, though slow) and the place was clean, but eating is just terrible. I'd go over the road and get a sandwich from the WA-Wa tankstelle before I get back. the cheesesteak was nothing but a frozen steak-um slaughtered on a piece of bread. the teaching has learned for us, would never consider to go back. So I am a first time customer saw they got decent reviews and wanted to try their food. The guy told me their behind an short staffed and would be a couple minutes until he can take my order. I told him no problem and waited patiently for 15 minutes. He then took a customer to place an order before me which is ridiculous as he had me wait to place an order. worst customer service an rude of him. I've never tried their subs but as of now I will not return.
Sad to say this place isn't what it once was. When the family owned it, you knew exactly how good it was going to be. This was once Delaware's gem. Now it's just different, it's like any other sub shop. The help sucks, your sandwich is usually screwed up and the taste is different. For you folks who never had the old capriottis, you really missed out.
We've been there several times and received outstanding service and a great sandwich. We are now ordering four trays for a group and have had excellent help from Michelle, Kei' Asia and Luke. Saw Luke helping a gentleman to his car with an order this past weekend. Great customer service!
I've been ordering the Bobby since 2008 from this location and I can't get myself to order another sandwich at Capriotti's... it's that good! Pro tip: Try the 18 size an slice it into 1-2 sections as an appetizer for a get-together. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
They messed up our order and were rude when we asked them to correct it. Then they lied and claimed that cheesesteaks automatically come with mushrooms. I will never return.
