A delightful dining establishment for those seeking a good dining experience. While the service can be inconsistent, the dishes more than compensate for any shortcomings. However, I must express my disappointment with the recent changes to the coleslaw and french fries, which, in my opinion, have diminished the overall dining experience. Additionally, the state of the tables and floors could benefit from improved cleanliness. It appears that the menus have undergone a redesign, and I have noticed a slight increase in prices. Despite these observations, I continue to enjoy dining at this restaurant and would recommend it to others.
First time here and it was a very good surprise. I had grilled salmon with Cajun flavor. Also a side salad and steamed broccoli. And the hush puppies were absolutely delicious. I will definitely come back here when I return to Martinsville. They have very many selections and all the food is good and all the people were raving about the food. And the sweet tea was definitely on point. The sad part is is I did not take any pictures.
They severed me spoiled/rotten crab legs. When I opened a leg I got hit with the stench of ammonia. Got a refund for them but since I didn’t bring the other food back that had most likely been contaminated but instead thrown in the trash I couldn’t get a refund for the other potentially contaminated food. But hey it’s policy. Don’t eat here, horrible experience.
I ate at Captain Tom's seafood restaurant a couple times during my visit in late January, early February. The food was great, but the service was outstanding. The waitress (Cody) was excellent, professional, and friendly. She is a terrific sales lady for the restaurant. I will be sure to dine there on future visits to the Martinsville area. I called in an order on Friday for a relative. It was on a Friday, and it was one of their specials. My aunt said it was really tasty and she loved the sweet potato. The service was good as well. The food was fresh and hot.
Take out call in order it was good. Salt and pepper catfish baled potato and Cole slaw. Called in order it was hot and ready when I got there. Employee at the register was courteous and friendly.
I really love their fried fish. It's awesome. After a long time, I had this similar to what I had in London, and I must say it's worth the money.
