My family and I visited Caption Digby for a birthday celebration on a Sunday and had an excellent experience. The service was exceptional with all staff being friendly, patient, and accommodating. They were very attentive to our younger family member who has allergies, ensuring that their needs were met and providing safe options. The bar staff were also great and the food was delicious. went Sunday for dinner and drinks , was told abruptly with no empathy no room for dinner for a long while , no timescale was offered . Order drinks anyway, Beer £4.75 and Smirnoff Ice at £5.30 !! Member of staff pushed by me whilst drink and spilt my beer down me , partly apologized and then came bock with a bit of blue tissue . Wont rush back and will spend my money elsewhere
We rode to the scenic Kingsgate Bay to return for the goats cheese and red onion chutney salad. It is easily the best salad I've ever eaten, so filling that I've recommended it to family and friends. The menu also caters for those that prefer burgers and pastas too! Seating is available in and outside which has kids play areas and is dog friendly.
We had Sunday lunch and I can't fault it. I had the roast beef and it was a large portion, all hot and perfectly cooked. I had salted caramel baked cheesecake for dessert which was equally delicious. Prices were reasonable. The restaurant was very busy and the staff were excellent; we didn't have to wait too long for anything.

Excellent restaurant. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, showing great care and consideration. The food was exceptional and the atmosphere was pleasant. Sam and his team are fantastic. We celebrated a birthday and enjoyed delicious roasts and meals. The service was impeccable and the restaurant is very family-friendly. The kids had a great time playing in the soft play area, and the staff even brought out our birthday cake with sparklers. We love Digby's!
Steak and Chicken dinner with chips tomatoes and mushrooms So plate full of thin tatty cold chips overcooked mushroom and tiny vine tomatoes Couldn't believe how bad those meals were It has been mentioned this establishment has gone down hill and for us never never again
Went to celebrate a family birthday; the staff were great and we had a fabulous meal. Thanks to Tracey and the rest of the staff for making it such a lovely occasion the balloons were a lovely touch especially for a birthday two days before Christmas!

Fantastic quality and value for money, the portions are more than enough (and I eat a lot); plus the staff are friendly, efficient and attentive.
Great New Years Eve meal. Food delicious and great service. Lovely family atmosphere. Will be returning soon.
