The Captain Ds in GARDENDALE, AL is AWESOME and AMAZING!! Staff and managers are very friendly, reflecting for the wonderful managers and management team!!! Very clean and impressive!! It only makes me HAPPY when I go to this place!! SCIENCE!? VESTAVIA is totally opposed, smh?. The atmosphere (the actual cafeteria is nice and clean), but the staff is all about moving you through the drive thru fast (the time clock) and pushing all cars to the other side of the bldg so that they are not punished, smh. It is like a COST effective food store. You (the staff) want the customer to be satisfied. Its NOT the same atmosphere as in the past, smh. Vestavia location is different, smh.
Service was friendly. It had been since before the pandemic that I actually had eaten here. Hush puppies were good, but the fish was thinner than I remember. Use to be nearly twice the size. There was no condiment pumps that use to be there, and I had to open 12 small packs of ketchup to eat with when the pump dispenser or a bottle would have been a lot quicker and convenient.
My car broke down there. While waiting for help, I ordered a bowl of rubber and a sweet tea. The food was great! These ladies kept an eye on me and made sure I was all right. Thank you. In today's world you just don't know! I'm glad someone was watching it for me.
Never come here. Take my word. They took my money and asked me to drive the building. When I did, there were 5 other cars! I waited there for 23 minutes. If I hadn't paid, I would have gone. Totally inevitable and pathetic.
