Update 4/29/24. Went to drive thru ordered 4 pieces battered fish and two extra sides. When I got home to eat I was surprised. The food was extraordinary. The fish portion was generous and so were all the sides It was a welcome surprise. I will be going more often! Update from my previous review. I received a call from the manager Thursday. Shawn Cooper, listened and apologized for my drive-thru experience. She offered to replace my meal at no cost to me. I went there Friday and explained my call and what items should be included. lol and behold Ms Cooper was there. When she is there she runs a tight ship. I received my replacement order. Firstly, both the exterior and interior of the restaurant appeared quite run-down. Secondly, it seemed like there was a shortage of staff at this location, which contributed to the overall experience. Lastly, the attitude and service from the employees were quite disappointing. It's hard to understand how a shabby restaurant can also have such poor customer service—it just doesn’t add up. When you do get your food, I recommend checking it thoroughly. One of the workers mentioned that one of the cooks was stressed, but that really shouldn’t affect the customer experience. The food itself was mediocre at best; I can't say I would recommend this location, especially if you're trying Captain D'...

I have a problem with restaurant's increasing prices but portion size getting smaller. Spent $15.69 on a 3 piece fish dinner with 2 sides (Greenbeans and broccoli) med sweet tea and a add on 5pc shrimp. Broccoli amount was just a little over a tablespoon amount..(smh) Greenbeans in a dish, honestly was a good amount. Fish tasted very fishy. Hush puppies overcooked. The 5 pieces of shrimp was pathetic. Very small and seriously overcooked. I've always love captain d's but this locations food is HORRIBLE!!....

I love Captain D’s but this location food is the WORST ever! The consumer service is great! This the only location where fried pickles is trash! My fish was cold and half cooked! This is my second eating at this location and the first wasn’t pleasing either, I don’t understand why this location is still open!! I’m just disappointed and I will NEVER eat here again! Today, the service was outstanding! A big shoutout to Jaquevious – keep pushing forward, and soon your shirt will say "Manager." My favorite is the fish special: two pieces of fried fish and two hushpuppies for just $6.49. You can't beat that! The restaurant has been around for quite a while, so it has a wonderful historical feel. Definitely worth a visit!

The food looked like it had been cooked with old oil. The swipe machine was not working so I was unable to get my proper discount. It took a while for me to get my order, and when I got home, it was all wrong. I ordered the original, and they gave me spicy, and I don't like spicy food. So I was very disappointed for sure.

We got take out. The staff is warm welcoming. I took a lil' break outside and one of the ladies brought me my food out which she didn't have to since I was fixin' to go back in but I thought that was SO nice. So sorry I can't remember your name. She was a nice blonde. My husband was satisfied and everything came out hot.
