I had a disappointing experience with the staff on June 28, 2022, at around 7 PM. I waited for 40 minutes as they repeatedly mixed up orders and seemed quite disorganized. Additionally, the manager openly expressed how tired he was of being there, which felt unprofessional. There was a lot of unnecessary chatter that didn't relate to work, leading to a significant lack of efficiency. This has become my least favorite location, and after giving it several chances, I have decided to stop visiting it altogether.
Be cautious if you plan to visit this restaurant at night and pay with cash at the drive-thru. There have been reports of the cashier handing out counterfeit bills as change. I found the manager to be unhelpful and they refused to exchange my $20 bill. I've reached out to corporate and may consider legal action if necessary. I first contacted the corporate office on July 6, 2022, and followed up on July 12. Despite providing my details twice, I'm still waiting for someone to reach out to me directly.
Since this Captain D's reopened, it has been fantastic! The drive-thru may seem busy, but the line moves quickly! However, I'm imploring the franchise owner to hire more quality staff to assist that manager. He works incredibly hard every time I visit, and it’s clear he’s been there for long stretches without a break. Please, owners, support him! He manages everything during the lunch rush all on his own, and he truly deserves a raise and some time off for keeping this location running smoothly!
I typically visit Captain D's on Sundays after church since they offer a special menu for seniors. The quality of the food can vary depending on who is cooking that day. The fish and shrimp are usually quite good, but sometimes the chicken tenders are overcooked, dry, and tough, which was the case yesterday. They were fine during my previous visit, and I would have rated it 4 stars then. Additionally, they forgot to include tartar sauce, making the fish not as enjoyable without it.

ever since this Captain D's re-opened again it has been great! The drive-thru can look busy but the line moves fast! but I am begging the franchise owner to get more quality workers in there to help out that manager! He is busting his butt in there everysingle time and lord knows how long he is working without a break... Please owners! Help this man out! smiling through lunchhour all by himself... He deserves a raise plus vacation for keeping this location afloat!

The lady who took my order was very nice and friendly, and she also got my drink refill. It's so refreshing to encounter a warm smile these days. The food was excellent, and this Captain D's really did a fantastic job.
Food taste old plus fries was cold. I also got cold gumbo with meal. I may never return to this location. The Captains D'Souza in Bartlett is so much better. I wasted over $12.00 here.

I ordered the shrimp skewers with Cole slaw and corn on the cob. Everything tasted so good. The shrimp, rice, Cole slaw and corn were great. The breadstick was soft and perfect.
Even late at night, the fish was served piping hot and fresh! I'm really happy that you're open again!
