During our stay at Ocean Isle Beach, this restaurant became our top choice for fresh seafood, both for dining in and for taking home at the end of our trip. The quality and selection were excellent, and we also appreciated the farm-fresh eggs and locally made key lime pie available for the week. We particularly enjoyed the ceviche, tiradito, and poke bowls, and we consistently found sushi-grade fish to incorporate into these dishes.
We waited an entire hour for our food to be served, but the two young servers were clearly overwhelmed. The food was just average; however, the crab cakes were undercooked, which made them inedible, and we didn't want to wait another hour for a fresh batch. The sweet potato dish was disappointing as well; it was more like a mushy mess drenched in an unappetizing sauce. On the positive side, the seafood was decent!
I really like this place. The fresh food and many selections aren't a bad price. And the fact that there's NO PORK served at all in the restaurant is a big win for me! I'll be returning many more times for sure.

Great place for seafood if your visiting sunset beach, lots of variety, and the best part, it does not smell fishy, they take pride in cleanliness and I appreciated it
